Hello Everyone,

Today I shall be talking about the Primal Host class from LRGG. This class has single handedly made my brain explode in joy and how fresh the idea is. THe concept is you play a character who has a symbiote thta he must keep happy by giving them certain boons. Sounds like archetypes of it? There is more.

In this book it not only gives you rewards for letting your symbiote do it's thing but it also fights against you in a battle of the wills to control you if you don't let it do as it pleases. This gives plenty of plot hooks for the gm and if you actually like to have that conflict ask the GM to play as your symbiote and that is just icing on the cake. No longer will I hear the cries of, "That's not fair, he is controlling two characters" that I hear about summoners nor will I hear how Over Powered they are for class features that are and have always been on par with other classes, but I digress.

This class is the meat and potatoes of what Pathfinder will be doing in the ages to come. Screw the fighter and say good bye to the wizard, it's time for the diamonds LRGG puts out to have a chance to shine.
